Assassin's Creed Rebellion is A Mobile Game That's Totally Unexpected

Ubisoft has consistently released a new game every year for the Assassin's Creed franchise in order to keep things fresh for fans and attract new players. They don't just focus on one gaming platform but usually develop releases for multiple platforms, including Xbox, PS4 and PC, just like 2016's release 'Assassin's Creed Origins' which brings players back to ancient Egypt.

This year's release is named Assassin's Creed Rebellion, and the game concept is a departure from the usual action adventure concept that most Assassin's Creed games are based on. This time, it seems that Ubisoft is lifting a page out of Bethesda's building and management game 'Fallout Shelter' and introducing a game that is a fusion of missions and resource management.

Plus all the angsty, dangerous looking characters are now looking really cute.

Assassin's Creed Rebellion is going to be set in ancient Spain during the height of the Inquisition, and players have to design the Brotherhood's headquarters, while recruiting and training new members. As players progress, new rooms and equipment become available to complete objectives and level up.

You'll soon be able to send your trained assassins out on different types of missions, and choose which assassins (who have different skills) you want to send out on these missions. No solid date has been announced, but judging from the amount of trailers released, it will be here in just a few months.
