Esports are utilizing Augmented Reality for their virtual audience

Esports, though not known to the masses, is quickly picking up popularity and hype all across the globe.

Previously in August, Valve have decided to use Augmented Reality, or AR, in order to enhance the viewing pleasure for their audience.

As seen above, they made use of the technology in order to display the chosen heroes of the players in front of them.

Recently, in the 2017 World Grand Finals of League of Legends in Beijing, they made use of the technology to project a Dragon flying across the stadium.

We have high hopes for the future, as this is possibly a start of a great trend in gaming ESports history.
