EVE: Project Aurora is an EVE Online Mobile Spin-Off

EVE Online is an MMO game that was released 14 years ago and is still going strong today on PC. The game is played by millions of players worldwide, and even set a world record when it played host to the largest online battle in history with the 'Bloodbath of B-R5RB'. This online battle involved more than 7500 players and took 21 hours to finish.

EVE Online has managed to attract such a large community of gamers due to its massive universe where players are allowed to mine for resources, trade, manufacture products, get rich, gain power, form political alliances and have space battles in real time.

CCP Games, the company behind EVE online has announced that there's going to be a mobile game version called EVE Project Aurora. The project is set to launch in 2018 and will be available on both iOS and Android.

The mobile version will not be linked in to the main MMO and will be developed by Finnish studio PlayRaven.

In this mobile version, players will have to co-operate and dominate the centre of the universe and become the biggest corporation in the same universe as the original PC game.

Look out for EVE Project Aurora early next year in both the App Store and Google Play.
