Doom (1993) is a classic First person shooter where you play as an unnamed space marine who is on Mars, fighting against a demon horde that exists on Mars, to prevent them from invading earth. The gore and horror elements were great, but the most memorable parts of the game were in its stage design. Every level has multiple paths to the objective and with multiple secrets scattered across the level, it felt rewarding to explore and kill every enemy that comes in your way.
While multiple weapons exists, players can also use a melee weapon called "Fist". While normally doing next to no damage, there is a power up named "Berserk" that amplifies your Fist damage by 10, allowing you to kill most demons in only a few hits.
Here is a table detailing the damage of the fist.
Below is a table that details out the number of punches needed to kill every enemy in the game.
It is clear that the "Fist" weapon is not intended for normal play, and will only be used by hardcore players whom are willing to circle strafe a Cyberdemon in melee range for hours.
