Niantic Set to Release New Ghost Type Pokemon this Halloween

Pokemon Go is all set for its Halloween event that's starting on October 20th and ending on November 2nd 2017. Niantic has recently announced that the key event this year is the release of new ghost-type Pokemons.

These new ghost Pokemons are going to be part of a whole new generation of Pokemon that will number about 100 in all. This new generation is be released in small batches until the end of this year.

The Halloween batch will include Pokemon like Dusclops, Duskull, Sableye, Shuppet and Bannette. Additionally, the numbers of ghost Pokemon already in the game like Zubat, Gastly, Gengar and Murkrow will be increased.

The Halloween event will also include a witch hat wearing Pikachu, as well as a Mimikyu themed hat for your avatar in the 'style' section.

Finally, candy rewards will be doubled for every transfer, as well as catches and hatches of Pokemon. Your buddy Pokemon will generate candy in half the usual walking length.

No doubt, this will be one Halloween PoGO lovers can't afford to miss.
