Nintendo Rumoured to Be Developing New Mobile Pokemon Trading Card Game

Hot on the heels of the worldwide phenomenon 'Pokemon Go', the augmented reality game that earned millions in profit for Niantic, Pokemon Go's developers come yet another Pokemon game. This time it's Nintendo's sister company, aptly named 'The Pokemon Company'. Nintendo has about a 33% stake in this company and is their major stakeholder.

The Pokemon Company has announced plans to release a mobile based card trading game in the same vein as Magic: The Gathering online and Blizzard's Hearthstone. This announcement comes right after Nintendo announced its intention to release The Legend of Zelda for mobile, making it clear that Nintendo intends to expand into the mobile platform big time.
