Rodeo Stampede Surpasses 80 Million Downloads in Just over a Year

So yes, you may be thinking that riding on a back of an elephant dressed as a cowboy and then trying to hop onto a giraffe and then a zebra who are all in a stampede is a strange game concept, but that's exactly what Featherweight Games and Yodo1 developed and players seem to love it.

In a little over a year since they've launched the game, this free to play app has garnered more than 80 million downloads on both Google Play and the Apple App Store, making it one of the best performing games in the past year or so. The game appeals to a wide range of players, both young and old.

The concept is simple enough. Ride and hang on to wild safari animals and befriend them to be added to your animal collection in a zoo, which you can open to the public for viewing.

Featherweight Games have been keeping players interested by introducing new updates from time to time, including new hats for your avatar and new zoo decorations. They will apparently continue to introduce updates in the future.
