Seedship puts you in charge of a ship full of human colonists. Your goal is to find an inhabitable planet for humanity to settle down. To assist in this goal, you have planet scanners that can be upgraded.

As you travel from planet to planet however, it is likely for the ship systems to be damaged. Players will have to make hard choices in deciding which systems to be damaged. Lose too many colonists, and the end result would be a monarchy. Lose too many cultural or scientific database and the end result of humanity would be a regression in technology and morality. Losing the landing gear results in damages across all systems and losing the construction systems would lead to more loss among the colonists.

It is all these hard decisions that makes the game engrossing and enjoyable despite repeated play. As the game is text only, it doesn't consume a lot of battery or storage space, and makes for an enjoyable game to be kept on phones.
