Sega Remakes Racer Game into Tapping Game with Crazy Taxi: Gazilionnaire

Anyone who was playing arcade games back in the day would have heard about crazy taxi, a racing game where you travel at breakneck speed. Crazy taxi first hit arcade centres back in 1999, when everyone was still big fans of denim jackets paired with stone washed denim jeans and mullet hairstyles.

Fast forward to 2017, and Sega is trying to revive the game by releasing a remake of the franchise, and calling it Carzy Taxi: Gazillionaire. Fans of the original racing game may be surprised to find that this time, the game has no racing involved, but idle tapping is how you win the game.

The game is now available as a free to play game, with an interesting storyline where you have to battle a ride-sharing company who's out to exploit you and other drivers. Your strategy is to start a taxi company of your own, and send out various drivers of your own to collect as many earnings as possible by tapping the screen as fast as possible.

The more your drivers bring in, the faster you can build up your fledgling company. It's a great game, if you're looking for a way to flex those fingers and while away some time.
