These Are The Star Wars Spinoffs You Never Knew About

Every self professed geek out there knows what Star Wars is and how the main films fall in a complicated timeline. They'll be able to tell you how Rogue One fits into the whole picture too, and how they're looking forward to Solo, a film about a young Han Solo coming out in 2018.

However, not many people, even some Star Wars fans themselves, have heard of these Star Wars titles:


1. The Star Wars Christmas Special

The main storyline of this made for TV variety show involves Han Solo visiting Chewbacca's home planet and meeting his family. However, the series also features an animated segment and low budget sketches featuring the original actors.


2. Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure

A pair of siblings search for their kidnapped parents with the help on the Ewoks from 'Return of the Jedi', Their journey takes them to the planet of Endor where they find that an evil monster known as the Gorax may be behind their parents' capture.


3. Ewoks: The Battle for Endor

In this sequel to Caravan of Courage, the Towani family are killed by Marauders, except for the youngest daughter Cindel. She teams up with the Ewoks to fight these new invaders.


4. Star Wars: Droids

This animated series appeared on TV in 1985 and takes place somewhere before Episode IV: A New Hope. It follows C3PO and R2D2 as they find themselves in various situations across the universe.


5. Ewoks The Animated Series

Airing for 35 episodes from 1985 to 1986, this animated series follows Wicket Warrick and his family's daily lives and the issues they face before the events that lead to them being involved in the battle on Endor against the Galactic Empire.
